Wal-mart video game aisle signage refresh
With multiple console announcements timed in Fall of 2020, all major brands (Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft) wanted a refreshed look within their aisles in the Electronic section of Walmart Super Centers. Working with multiple brands at once, I created and managed this update ensuring all signs would be printed and executed correctly. Each sign required extreme attention to detail to ensure brand consistency with printed color.
NEW CONSOLES, NEW LOOK
NINTENDO
While Nintendo did not release a new console in Fall of 2020, a refreshed in-store experience was still wanted. Working with fellow designers at Kendal King, we engineered not just flat 2D signage, but corrugated structures that allowed more graphical space without sacrificing product facings.
XBOX
Microsoft had a similar in-store execution to that of Nintendo. Directional 2D signage mixed with Corrugated structures to increase shopability.
